These braces type is exactly same as of the traditional ones but as opposed to them, they are located inside your teeth. Lingual braces can be just as effective as traditional braces and provide more benefits to the wearer. While the can be spotted only when the wearer opens the mouth they are far less intrusive. However, it could be an inappropriate choice for some patients as the cleaning of these kinds of braces is not easy. Since they are behind the teeth, patient cannot see the areas which require extensive cleaning.
Mostly patients do not opt for this type of braces and go for different braces because these are expensive and make the speech difficult than any other braces types.
