This type of braces use brackets with clips that hold on to the wire instead of a rubber band. Both metal and ceramic versions are available for this type but it is not suitable for every patient. It may shorten the time period of treatment but results may not be the one as wished by the patient going through an orthodontic treatment.

It provides a number of benefits to the wearer including the ability to remove and clean the aligners for complete oral health maintenance. Although, they are most expensive than all other types of braces and the system does not yet have solutions for very severe orthodontic conditions, Invisalign are  known to be completely invisible and helps to boost the confidence of the wearer.
